Pojer e Sandri: The excellence of the Riesling Grappa from Trentino.
For over two centuries, the historic Pojer e Sandri distillery has stood out in the panorama of high-quality production in Trentino, a region renowned for its food and wine excellence and wines including the native Riesling grape.
Their Riesling grappa represents an extraordinary example of craftsmanship and respect for traditions, reinterpreted with innovation and passion.
Founded in 1947, Pojer e Sandri is committed to enhancing the excellence of the territory, using the highest quality grapes and careful and environmentally friendly distillation techniques.
Their Riesling grappa, obtained from the distillation of the pomace of one of the noblest and most refined native vines, is a symbol of elegance and refinement.
The destemmed pomace is distilled immediately after racking and after a light pressing carried out with an old hydraulic press
All the sugar is already transformed into alcohol.
With a new technology, the grape seeds are removed, which represent, in weight, a percentage ranging from 20 to 45%.
In this way, it is possible to avoid the distillation of wood, waxes and oil that make up the grape seed itself.
For distillation, they use their own discontinuous bain-marie still of a very new conception, which the owners themselves collaborated in designing.
At the end of the distillation process, a high-proof grappa is obtained (73° – 78°), which is placed in special stainless steel tanks awaiting subsequent processing.
Ideal to be enjoyed alone, as a digestive, or accompanied by fruit, dry pastries, the Resling grappa by Pojer and Sandri represents an authentic sensory experience.
The care in production and the passion of the artisans are reflected in every sip, providing a refined and memorable pleasure.
Pojer and Sandri continues to consolidate its reputation as one of the main interpreters of Italian artisanal grappa.
Their Resling grappa is a tribute to tradition, reinterpreted with elegance and innovation, which conquers experts and enthusiasts of fine spirits.
