The third edition of the multi-vintage rum "Dame Jeanne" from the Martinican distillery JM is born.
Rhum Dane Jeanne batch 3 from the J.M distillery is a Blend of aged rums, cask strength, with an average age between 9 and 18 years.
The third release of the rum "La Dame Jeanne" from the JM distillery stands out from the previous ones because it is an assembly in higher percentages of extra aged rums with an average age of over 13 years of aging in a tropical climate.
All exceptional agricultural rums, full of aromas and rich in flavor.
Karine Lassalle, master blender J.M, has selected from the distillery's reserve, some rums of the most prized years.
The small J.M distillery was founded in 1845 in the north-east of the island of Martinique and has become world famous during its existence.
This top "Rhum Agricole" is distilled exclusively from the pure fermented juice of sugar cane from its own lands, perched on the slopes of the volcano and facing the equator.
This allows for better maturation of the sugar cane.
The canes, harvested mechanically, are ground to extract the sugary juice, the "vesou".
This is then left to ferment, then distilled with a column still... historic.
The rum j.m. It is then aged in its own Limousin oak barrels and mixed with spring water from the forest, a natural park that surrounds the Martinique volcano.
The Contrôlée Martinique denomination means that it is a rum without additives, such as sugar or caramel, and this controlled denomination is subject to strict controls by the European Community.
Here are the vintages selected by master blender Karine Lassalle to compose the multi-vintage rum Dane Jeanne batch 2 from the J.M. distillery.

The design is no exception, the bottle is a reproduction of a Dame Jeanne in the colors of the J.M Rhum (previously used in the distillery to preserve old rums that have reached 10 years of age) accompanied by a wooden case.
The demijohns were used to store the rum aged at the Fonds-Préville distillery.
