The production of WhistlePig Old World Rye begins with the careful selection of rye, a noble and complex grain, which is then distilled on site.

After an initial maturation of over a decade in new American oak barrels, the whisky is transferred to three different types of casks for a second maturation. Each type of cask—Madeira (63%), Sauternes (30%), and Port (7%)—brings distinctive aromas and further complexity to this rye whisky, creating a synergy of refined flavors.
