Eminente 7-Year Reserva is the new Cuban rum launched by the Moët Hennessy group with the aim of reviving the typical 19th-century rum style.
An ambitious and innovative choice, carried out with rigor and dedication, with the aim of achieving the highest quality, thanks to selected raw materials, meticulous distillation, and meticulously crafted refinements.
This rum is aged for 7 years in ex-Bourbon oak barrels, made with 70% aguardientes (burning water), which imparts highly complex aromatic notes to the distillate.
The Master Ronero is Cesar Martì, the youngest but also the most accredited creator of the Cuban distillate, a true international "Eminence" in rum creation.
Born on the Caribbean island, César grew up among sugarcane plantations and was exposed to the centuries-old art of rum distillation from an early age.
He comes from a family that was involved in sugar production and learned the ancient savoir-faire and love for his land and its traditions from his grandparents.
Thus was born the desire to revive the ancient style of 19th-century Cuban rum, characterized by aguardiente as the protagonist, in the spirit of refined elegance.
This rum is made with 70% aguardiente (molasses spirit) and aged for a minimum of 7 years.
The aguardiente gives this rum complexity and depth of flavor, while the ron ligero (light rum) adds a touch of vitality.
