Peterson 160th Anniversary Pat OB dark smooth P-Lip

The Peterson 160th anniversary Irish pipe is finally available, featuring a classic straight billiard shape with a dark polished briar finish.

1865-2025: This pipe celebrates 160 years of the Irish pipe manufacturer Peterson, and with it, Peterson has succeeded in realizing a long-cherished project.

The shape is based on a model from an old Peterson catalog from 1906.

It featured the Pat. B (bent billiard) and Pat. OB (Billiard Straight): two extraordinary pipes with muscular proportions that were worth reviving, caressing, and using for intense smokes.

Naturally, the Peterson 160th Anniversary Pat.OB pipe features the classic P-Lip mouthpiece.

The Pat B and Pat OB are reissues of pipes from the early patent period.

The robust, muscular proportions are enhanced by a sterling silver band and a wide vulcanite mouthpiece.

The wide band is, of course, made of sterling silver and features Dublin hallmarks.

All pipes are individually numbered and limited to 2,400 pieces worldwide.

Each pipe has been meticulously recreated from original specimens and drawings by Giacomo Penzo, Peterson pipe specialist.

The Peterson 160th Anniversary Pat.OB straight billiard pipe is available in very limited numbers for collectors or pipe smokers who want to experience a Peterson Irish pipe—muscular yet balanced, beautiful, and classic.

Peterson pipes are personally and exclusively handcrafted, the result of long and painstaking work at their headquarters in south Dublin, home to one of the oldest pipe factories in the world: Peterson of Dublin.

Peterson pipes are characterized by their classic, harmonious shape, elegance, and practicality.

They are carved from the finest, most select briar.

The briar is crafted in a highly specialized way, handcrafted and polished with natural materials.

The exterior finish may vary slightly from the image, as each Peterson briar pipe is unique.

The variations are only in the shades of the briar; the dimensions and shape remain unchanged.
