Reverse Series Pipe, Apple Bent, Reverse Calabash, Sandblasted Briar

The Talamona Reverse line is an ambitious project: a well-balanced, curved Apple-shaped pipe with a reverse calabash cooling chamber, crafted from black sandblasted briar.

The Reverse Bent Apple in black sandblasted briar is the result of careful study of both its broad, muscular shape, spacious bowl, and the chamber.

The flair and creative flair of Paolo Croci are always evident in Talamona pipes.

Classic or modern, they are carved from the finest, most select briar, which is sandblasted and painted black for a total black aesthetic.

Very light and comfortable to handle, in the sandblasted, total black briar finish, they are very elegant, a classic.

The curved Apple shape allows for a high chimney, suitable for aromatic tobaccos. It has a good shoulder, insulating against the high temperatures that develop during combustion.

Note the negative rim, which aids in loading the tobacco pipe.

The smoke expansion chamber, called a reverse calabash, cools, dries, and softens the smoke, enhancing the tobacco's aromas.

The term "reverse calabash" indicates a construction variant of the calabash: it retains the purpose of separating and cooling the smoke but reverses/inverts the arrangement of some elements (e.g., the position of the chamber insert, shank, or section of duct with respect to the external body), resulting in a different air path that can affect draw, performance, and balance.

There is no single standard: the term describes a construction principle rather than a single shape.

The black color of the briar and the short cylindrical mouthpiece make the Talamona Reverse Apple curved pipe very elegant, balanced, and with an innate style.
