Sibona MAeCO' gin Vol.42% Cl.70

Sibona MaeCo Gin is born from the union of two worlds: MA and CO' stands for Sea and Hill.

It is Sibona's Premium Dry Gin, also enriched with botanicals from Piedmont and Liguria, including: juniper berries, Sale San Giovanni lavender, sage, rosemary, Damask rose, and Nebbiolo grape leaves for Piedmont, and lemon, thyme, Pernambucco orange, and DOP Genoese basil for Liguria.

A gin that celebrates the meeting of the hills and the sea.

Sibona is one of Piedmont's historic distilleries, holding distillation license No. 1 issued by the U.T.F., the financial body that oversees all distillery operations.

Since its inception, Distilleria Sibona has always considered itself an artisanal company, producing single-varietal grappas through steam distillation of fresh pomace immediately after it arrives at the distillery.

The distillation process began using an old steam locomotive, which was later replaced by copper stills.

The pomace is distilled fresh, upon arrival at the distillery, a process that allows for even greater extraction of the aromas and flavors of the harvest.

MAeCO' Gin is produced from a slow maceration of Piedmontese juniper berries and other botanicals from Piedmont and Liguria, which are then distilled separately.

The individual distillates are then blended according to a unique and secret recipe.

The resulting gin is diluted with Eva natural water, which flows from Europe's highest spring at 2,042 meters, to achieve 42% ABV.

Finally, it is chilled and delicately filtered before being bottled.

The Sibona distillery has taken ecological considerations into consideration for its new MaeCo' Gin; the bottle is made of "wild glass," or recycled glass, significantly reducing CO2 emissions and limiting waste of raw materials, thus fully supporting the environment.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: MAeCO' Gin is transparent and crystalline.

Aromas: On the nose, intense floral notes of lavender and orange blossom are detected, accompanied by aromas of aromatic herbs such as basil, thyme, and sage, along with fresh citrus notes.

Taste: The flavor is enveloping and balanced, with a distinct freshness that guides the consistent floral and citrus finish.
