Selvatiq Himalayan Gin is the fruit of a revolutionary project in the world of premium spirits: producing superior spirits following a nomadic approach, seeking out the purest botanicals in the world's most extreme places, with a particular emphasis on the diversity of the terroirs and native juniper trees.

Selvatiq was born in 2019 as a revolutionary project in the world of premium spirits: producing the highest-quality spirits following a nomadic approach, seeking out the purest botanicals in the most remote places on the planet.

In 2024, under the leadership of Giacomo Sandri and Marco Magnocavallo, the project evolved further, placing even greater emphasis on the diversity of the territories and their native juniper trees.

Authentic expeditions to the most extreme places on the planet, captured in gins of extraordinary quality.

Encapsulating the innovative vision and nomadic approach of the Italian brand: Selvatiq.

Each gin in the Selvatiq collection tells the story of an extreme territory: from the peaks of the Himalayas to the wild coasts of Sardinia, to the desert expanses of Utah.

Selvatiq's Wild London Dry Gin Himalayan is one of three expressions that make up this brand's offering and, as its name suggests, embodies the essence of the Himalayan mountains, from which all the botanicals used to produce it originate.

Himalayan Gin is made from Himalayan juniper – Juniperus Indica – which grows at altitudes above 3,500 meters.

Harvesting takes place in late October, when the berries reach perfect ripeness, and is entrusted to local Nepalese communities.

The other ingredients are also exclusive to the local botanicals, all hand-picked and respecting the natural cycles of the mountains: Timur Pepper, Black Cardamom, rhododendron flowers, and hibiscus.

The botanicals are selected and hand-picked by expert locals when they reach peak aromatic concentration.

Then they are transported and distilled in a historic Italian distillery using the London Dry method, to preserve all the unique characteristics of the raw materials.

The distillation takes place in an ancient Italian distillery, where the precious botanicals are processed using the London Dry method, ensuring a perfectly balanced aromatic bouquet that preserves and enhances the wild essence of each terroir.

Selvatiq Himalayan Gin is striking when tasted with its strong and wild character, revealing a pleasant complexity in which resinous and fresh notes of juniper unfold, perfectly balanced with the spicy and citrusy touch of Timur, creating a gin that captures the pure essence of the Himalayan peaks in every sip.

The delicate sip, punctuated by a delicate yet persistent floral note, develops a very fresh finish.

Selvatiq Himalayan Gin is perfect for gin and tonic and is worth trying mixed in the classic Martini cocktail for a much more intense wild experience—it will amaze you!!

We recommend tasting it neat, pure, to understand this new gin.

The refined aesthetic, the glass stopper, the novelty of the product, and the unique characteristics of this gin make it an excellent gift idea to impress London Dry gin enthusiasts.
