Valbruna Sandblasted Cavalier Pipe

The Valbruna sandblasted black Cavalier pipe is a successful combination of aesthetics, craftsmanship, and functionality.

With this pipe, Simone Gaudenzi sought to unite two pipe shapes: the curved Cavalier and the straight Cherrywood.

This creation represents a highly personal and successful artisanal interpretation of the straight Cavalier pipe, a model that challenges classic geometric conventions to offer an extremely functional smoking instrument with a rare visual presence.

Perfect for those seeking an elegant, reliable, and distinctive pipe, it represents an appreciable synthesis of tradition and contemporary quality.

Introducing the Valbruna, a briar pipe named Cavalier Straight: a creation that combines refined aesthetics, traditional craftsmanship, and high-level performance.

A reinterpretation of the classic Cavalier and "cherrywood" shapes, this sandblasted pipe is designed for the smoker seeking functionality and understated elegance, along with a smooth and satisfying smoking experience.

The straight, vase-shaped lines with a bark-top rim and a taut, thin stem, also with a bark-top finish, make this tobacco pipe elegant and unique.

Flared Volumes and a Canted Head: The stem is perfectly flared and connects to a perfectly flared V-shaped head, elegantly canted.

This angle lends dynamism to the shape and balances its posture.

The Base and Rim Bark Top: The body of the bowl is enhanced by a delicate, silky sandblasting, finished with a dark, intense color. The rim has a Bark Top finish that highlights the briar.

The bark top rim and the flat base of the polished briar bowl create a perfect contrast, making the pipe an authentic stand-up pipe.

The highest-quality design and materials. The body is made of select, seasoned, and handcrafted briar.

The sandblasted surface enhances the natural grain of the briar, offering a silky feel and a rustic-elegant look.

Black finishes on the stem or shank and mouthpiece contrast and highlight the Medusa logo.

Each Valbruna is hand-finished: uniform sandblasting, precise carving of the mouthpiece, and careful alignment of the bowl and mouthpiece for optimal draw.

Attention to detail ensures zero vibration, a good hold, and a balanced hand.

Smoking performance.

The straight Cavalier shape, an evolution of the "cherrywood" shape, promotes comfortable loading and a smooth burn.

The well-seasoned briar and sandblasting contribute to gentle thermal regulation and excellent humidity management.

Large Capacity Bowl: The internal combustion chamber provides a generous volume, ideal for holding tobacco loads suitable for extended smoking sessions.

Perfect Conical Drilling: The drilling is slightly conical along the depth of the bowl.

The bowl or bowl of the pipe is 51 mm deep and conical, perfect for aromatic and flake tobaccos.

Valbruna Tailored Workmanship: The mouthpiece is not an industrial preform, but is entirely carved and hand-rolled from a high-quality black methacrylate bar.

It features a fishtail tip to ensure a comfortable fit under the teeth and optimal airflow.

The result: clean flavors, stable performance, and an experience suited to both flavored tobaccos and rolled flake tobacco.

Recommended Maintenance

Clean the chimney regularly with a pipe cleaner.

Avoid rapid heating cycles; let it cool between uses.

Treat the briar with specific oils only if necessary to maintain the brilliance of the grain.
