The birth of Worthy Park Estate dates back to 1670, when in the heart of Jamaica, and exactly in the municipality of St. Catherine, sixty kilometers north of Kingston, was founded what today can be in effect considered the oldest distillery in the world still operational. Founded as a sugar mill with an adjoining distillery, and managed over three years by only three different families, Worthy Park Estate produces rums in pure Jamaican style, distilling the proprietary molasses according to two distinct fermentation processes, light and heavy, which differentiate in particular for used yeasts.

Using a pot still, double fermentation still, the rums proposed by Worthy Park Estate are really quality and excellent.
