The origins of this bitter with herbs date back to 1846 at the behest of the founder of the family of the same name, Sir Hubert Underberg.

This bitterness is the emblem of tradition that furrows, embellishing, the passing of time.

The special recipe, still secretly kept today, derives from the meticulous selection of 43 aromatic herbs from all over the world.

The manufacturing process, which is also jealously guarded, allows the precious active and aromatic substances and natural vitamins without added sugar to be gently extracted from the selected herbs; the digestive obtained in this way is then transferred to Slovenian oak barrels and left to mature for many months before being packaged.

Ideal as a digestive in moments of relaxation and tasting, Underberg's digestive effectiveness is in fact scientifically tested and proven, as well as being recognized as a powerful ally for the assimilation of beer yeasts.
