Usually this distillery produces Single Blended (traditional column + pot still) extracted from pure sugar cane juice grown in the Crocodile river valley in Onderberg district of Mpumalang.

Its rums are intense, fragrant, with smoky notes unique in the rum world.

Surrounded by its own sugar cane plantations, the MHOBA artisanal distillery is located in the hills of the Onderberg district of Mpulamanga, South Africa.

Unlike most traditional rums, which are made from molasses from refined sugar production, MHOBA rum is made from pure local sugar cane juice, Nkomazi variety and contains no artificial additives, colors or flavors.

The entire production process takes place on the property, from the cultivation of organic sugar cane to the labeling of the bottles.

Distillation is carried out by Robert Greaves in self-produced high reflux pot stills.
