The long experience in distillation, gained year after year, has allowed us to grow by giving the right attention to two pillars of the company: product quality and customer satisfaction.

Bosso is a name that evokes a grappa of family tradition. For five generations they have passionately carried on the business founded in 1888 in Zanco di Villadeati and transferred to Cunico in 1931.

The long experience in distillation, gained year after year, has allowed us to grow by giving the right attention to two pillars of the company: product quality and customer satisfaction.

Distillation.

They have always paid great care to all stages of production, from the selection of the best pomace from their excellent suppliers to bottling, following rigorous quality control protocols.

Distillation, a fundamental phase of the entire process and the beating heart of the company, is still carried out today in the historic distillery plant, consisting of 2 batteries of 6 copper stills and involves the discontinuous direct steam method.

In the face of longer production times and a lower quantitative yield, the production process allows for the production of grappas with greater aroma and flavor.

The long experience, the complete management of the production process and the flexibility of the plants also allow for the customization of the products according to the needs of the markets and the requests of the customers, with defined minimum purchase lots.

Aging.

The Distillery was one of the first to believe and bet on a long grappa aging process.

They leave the grappas to rest in the aging cellar located in Montechiaro d'Asti, in a historic building previously occupied by Martini & Rossi.

They use small and medium-sized chestnut, oak and cherry barrels and, thanks to the constant search for the best organoleptic combinations between aroma and bouquet, they choose the most suitable type of wood.

Year after year they carefully monitor the products and select the right moment to bottle each batch.
