Quintessential Brands Group was founded in 2011 by Enzo Visone (former CEO of Gruppo Campari) and Warren Scott as an independent company dedicated to the development, production, and distribution of spirits brands.

The group presents itself as the bearer of a distilling heritage dating back to 1761: this legacy comes in particular from the historic Greenall's (originally founded by Thomas Dakin), now part of the group.
