financing agreement Pay in 3 installments ("Agreement") constitutes a financing granted to the user ("User") by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. ("PayPal") under the provisions of this Agreement, which supplements the PayPal Terms of Use and specifically governs your use of the "Pay in 3 Installments" financing ("Financing").
PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (a limited liability company registered in the Luxembourg Trade and Companies Register under number B 118 349, with registered office at 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449, Luxembourg) is a Luxembourg credit institution duly licensed under Article 2 of the Law of 5 April 1993 on the financial sector, as amended, and is subject to the prudential supervision of the Luxembourg supervisory authority, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) with registered office at L-2449, Luxembourg.
"Pay in 3" is a financing option whereby you can pay for eligible purchases made using your PayPal account in three interest-free installments. At the time of purchase, an initial payment is made, followed by monthly installments over two (2) months from the date of signing this Agreement. The "Transaction Amount" is the value of your purchase less any PayPal balance or special payment solution applied, as applicable. PayPal will automatically apply any merchant-specific or transaction-specific balances associated with your PayPal account to finance an eligible purchase, which will reduce the amount available for financing through "Pay in 3". "Pay in 3" may not be available for certain merchants or for the purchase of certain goods and services.
Pursuant to Article 122, paragraph 1, letters (c) and (d) of Legislative Decree no. 385 (Consolidated Law on Banking and Credit), the regulatory framework relating to consumer credit does not apply to the Financing.
"Pay in 3 installments" is available to natural persons of legal age and holders of a Personal PayPal account in respect of which they are registered as residents in Italy. Such natural persons must also have a valid credit, debit or prepaid card or a confirmed bank account linked to the PayPal account as a payment method for the entire duration of the reimbursements provided for by the Financing.
Advance Bank Transfer:
In case of payment by Advance Bank Transfer, the amount ordered by the Customer will be kept busy for 5 days, until receipt of proof of bank transfer or crediting of the same.
The sending of the order will take place only at the time of the actual crediting of the amount due on our bank current account. (Generally it takes about 2/3 working days at most).
The purpose of the bank transfer must include your name and the order reference number.
