The Zippo lighter became famous on the battlefields of the Vietnam War, together with the machine gun and helicopters it is an icon of the conflict.
The Zippo Trench art series is dedicated precisely to the American fighters in Vietnam who fought between 1968 and 1971.
In the Zippo Trench art Country design we have the engraving of the phrase "I didn't come to Vit Nam to die for my country i came to make the other S.o.b. die for his" on antiqued chrome.
An engraving commemorating all the unfortunate victims of the Vietnam War.
The satin chrome color of this Zippo is beautiful and enhances the engraving of the phrase and the writing Viet-Nam 68 - 69.
The main feature of the Zippo is that of having maintained, from 1932 to today, an almost identical line; it is precisely its shape that makes it characteristic and famous.
A shape that has passed unscathed through so many wars and has accompanied so many brave soldiers.
