This Grappa is produced with pomace from Zibibbo, one of the oldest Sicilian vines that has always been cultivated in the wonderful Black Pearl of the Mediterranean.
In Pantelleria, in the lands of what is defined as the "Black Pearl" of the Mediterranean, the grapes of one of the oldest Sicilian vines are grown: the zibibbo.
Distilleria Giovi obtains this grappa from the zibibbo pomace, characterized by an aromatic and balanced, gentle and soft character.
To enhance the tradition of this aromatic vine, the master distiller Giovanni La Fauci uses wood-fired discontinuous bain-marie stills.
