We are at the third release after Africa, Oceania Gin Primo Asia is now available ... with Korean salt.

Primo Gin Asia has just been launched and is still little known, its story begins six years ago thanks to the passion of Federico Lugaresi and his innovative idea of creating a hot gin with spices and essence, the refinements of a continent like the 'Asia.

It is today the only gin in the world that actually contains Korean salt cooked in bamboo canes, red rice and Matcha tea, and for this reason it has truly peculiar characteristics and has an incredible taste that recalls the atmosphere of the Asian continent.

Gin Primo Asia is a handcrafted "Made in Italy" gin, distilled with hand-picked botanicals, Te Matcha, dried red rice, Yuzu citrus fruits, timut pepper, spices and the incredible and delicious Korean salt cooked in bamboo canes.

Gin Primo Asia is in many ways an atypical, revolutionary and unsettling distillate, in others it is one of the most refined, warm and fascinating gins we have ever tasted.

The botanicals with which Gin Primo is flavored: Te Matcha, dried red rice, Yuzu citrus fruits, timut pepper, cinnamon, juniper and obviously salt.

Primo Gin Asia is distilled in a copper pot still in a bain-marie from an Italian grain alcohol base.

The botanicals are placed separately in a hydroalcoholic solution at 50° for 48 hours.

Subsequently, each botanical is pressed and the individual infusions are distilled separately and then blended together.

The lots are small to ensure quality and continuity in the product, which is brought to an alcohol content of 43%.

Tasting notes:

Perfumes: On the nose Gin Primo is striking for its slightly citrus aroma accompanied by intense spices followed by salty notes.

Taste: On the palate it is complex, spicy with a beautiful balsamic overture that veers quickly on notes of vanilla and tea, crossed by hints of green citrus fruits to close on spicy and bitter hints of cinnamon, black pepper and juniper.

It is not the usual gin ... very good, it will amaze you and leave a mark in your heart like the Asian continent.
