The Specialty Smooth Nickel Mounted Series showcases Peterson's range of light and elegant special shaped pipes with a classic, red, smooth finish and polished nickel ferrule, giving these finish designs a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic.
It was created in 1945 and remains a popular range to this day.
Here we have a beautiful Barrel shaped Peterson pipe and palatal P-Lip mouthpiece.
The Peterson Specialty line contains some of the smallest and lightest shapes such as Barrel, Tankard, Calabash and Belgique.
Originally released as one of four Specialty shapes in 1945, the Barrel is a reinterpretation of the sturdy Poker design, but with a more streamlined shank and stem, and a rounded pipe body reminiscent of its namesake, the Barrel.
The flat or stand Up foot is excellent, allowing you to place this small Barrel pipe by Peterson practically anywhere.
The long palatal mouthpiece in vulcanite allows the smoke to be conveyed upwards, eliminating the pungent sensation of some tobaccos.
The beautiful nickel ferrule engraved with the Peterson of Dublin logo makes this small pipe very elegant.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient process at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the oldest pipe factories in the world is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson's pipes is the classic, harmonious shape, elegance and practicality.
They are carved in the most selected and precious briar.
Note in this model the flaming of the briar that wraps around the entire body of the pipe.
The classic amaranth color goes well with the glossy finish and the ferrule, this is an elegant tobacco pipe.
The external finish may vary slightly from the image as each Peterson briar pipe is a unique piece.
The variations are intended only in the nuances of the briar, the measurements and the shape do not vary.
