The prickly pear plant is a real prodigy of nature, the power of its roots crushes the volcanic rocks and its vigor is easily traceable in the distillate of its fruit.

In Pantelleria, in the lands of what is defined as the "Black Pearl" of the Mediterranean, the prickly pear plants are born spontaneously and its honeyed and ripe fruits are a delicacy.
From ripe fruits the Giovi Distillery obtains this fruit distillate, characterized by an aromatic and balanced, gentle and soft character.
To enhance the tradition of this aromatic vine, the master distiller Giovanni La Fauci uses wood-fired discontinuous bain-marie stills.
