It is crossed by the Rio Demerara, on whose banks the homonymous variety of sugar cane is cultivated which is considered the best in the world and is used for the production of Demerara sugar and Guyana rums.

It is thanks to this exceptional raw material that Demerara rums are considered a separate category in the universe of rum.

El Dorado 12 years is a blend of specially selected aged rums, where the youngest is no less than 12 years old, distilled in 3 types of alambichi and aged in oak barrels, which gives life to a sweet and intense Rum.

Tasting notes:

Rum with a dark and intense amber color.

On the nose it releases aromas of tropical fruit and spices, closing in on sweeter notes of honey and sugar cane.

In the mouth it is soft, full-bodied with fruity and spicy flavors.
