It is a Rhum agricultural AOC of Martinique, aged patiently for 16 years and 8 months in selected oak barrels.
After the rum Clement is again put in oak barrels ex bourbon but much smaller, for another eight months, finally bottled.
With this method, the delicate hint of wood that the distillate acquires during the first phase of maturation, is combined with the softness conferred by aging in barrels of second passage.
