New edition in a series of annual releases, Local Barley is distilled from locally grown barley in the Campbeltown Territory.

Springbank Local Barley is the rarest of Campbeltown distillery whiskeys.

The Springbank has now become a cult distillery among enthusiasts who are conquered by its unique taste and by the distillery itself, rustic, chaotic and traditional but well-kept and of great quality.

The perfect introduction to the Springbank distillery range, this 10 year old is complex and its key factor is the perfect balance between oak and ex bourbon barrels.

Matured for 10 years, it is an assembly of 70% ex bourbon barrels and 30% new oak barrels.

It was produced in 15,000 bottles at the natural grade of 51.6%.

Aroma: The nose of this dram is constantly changing, and it is always delicious ... Choose your favorite dessert: vanilla ice cream with caramel cream, Pecan pie or creme caramel. There are also custard biscuits, honeycomb and chocolate. The tasting panel likes sweet tastes ...

Palate: The whiskey has a delicate and floral quality, made of lemongrass and citrus tea. There is also a sweetness of almonds and marzipan, balanced by a note of peat. It closes on pure pleasure, with velvety accents.

Finish: It is recognized that this whiskey is aged in traditional dunnage cellars, with a soft and mineral, earthy finish. After a while you can feel the salty caramel and the spicy notes of cinnamon bread with a splash of honey.
