Distilled at Campbeltown in December 2003 it was bottled in August of 2019 at the full grade of 51.

Springbank Whiskey 15 Y.O. Rum Wood limited edition ages for fifteen years in oak barrels previously used for demerara rum, sugary rum, sweet-smelling sweets.

The ex-barrel aging in barrels completes this full-grade Springbank whiskey, indeed it gives it an unparalleled elegance.

This Springbank whiskey 15 Y.O. Rum Wood Limited Edition expresses vibrant notes of caramel, butter, molasses and fruit jam.

A collectible whiskey, produced in only 9,000 bottles, or to be given to peated Scotch whiskey enthusiasts.

Tasting notes:

Colour gold.

Aroma: The nose is very pleasant with sweet notes of tropical fruit, banana, coconut and pineapple followed by caramel, ginger and a pinch of peat.

Taste: The sweetness of the nose moves to the palate where we find notes of cane sugar, toffee, pineapple and custard with citrus fruits and mineral peat.

Finale: Long with notes of beeswax, spicy oak, banana flambé and caramel with hints of earthy peat and toasted nuts.
