Mount Gay is the oldest distillery in Barbados if not the oldest in the world and its rums are famous all over the world.

Here we have the new Mount Gay 1703 rum X.o. reserve Triple cask, an innovative product, bottled at 43 degrees.

The typical rum of Barbados, born from the blending of sugar cane molasses distillates aged for 8-15 years in old American oak barrels previously used for boubon, cognac and American whiskey.

Mount Gay Rum 1703 X.o. Triple cask, is the blend of rums carefully chosen from the oldest reserves with a maturity of 17 years.

A great success that was rewarded by numerous Great Gold Medals and Trophies from the International Institute of Spirits.

Mount Gay X.o. reserve triple cask is soft, round and complex, rich in spicy and fruity notes, with slightly smoky nuances.

Amber-golden color, it has an extremely complex but harmonious aroma: scented notes of caramel, biscuits and dark chocolate are distinguished.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Amber, with light gold reflections.

Nose: smoky and balsamic notes, beautiful presence of beeswax and wood notes. Mount Gay X.o. reserve triple cask is a complex rum.

Taste: with 43 degrees it is soft and prolonged by a nice aromatic amplitude. The toasted notes evoke the nose.

Final: long and powerful. It continues on greedy and pastry notes, we recommend a combination with Caribbean cigars such as Vegafina.
