The "Japanese Blossom" is a Gin from the Ukiyo distillery. It comes from a base of shochu which is then redistilled with juniper, regional citrus fruits, cherry blossoms and native plants.
The “Japanese Blossom” Gin by Ukiyo Spirits was born in southern Japan, precisely in the most extreme point corresponding to the locality of Kagoshima, near the Sakurajima volcano.
This Gin brings with it the tradition of the art of Japanese distillation, being the result of meticulous and expert work by a family that has passed down the art and knowledge of this discipline for generations.
The term “Ukiyo” literally means “floating world” and refers to a mental state that focuses on the here and now, detaching oneself from the difficulties that life presents.
“Japanese Blossom” Gin by Ukiyo Spirits is produced from a harvest of local barley initially distilled in shochu liqueur, which is distilled a second time in a still with the addition of juniper, mandarin and spices and concludes with the infusion of the Sakura flower and of yuzu to infuse delicacy to the taste.
This distillate is presented as a tribute to the magnificent "Hanami" period, that is, that of the cherry blossoming during the spring season, an occasion in which the Japanese usually celebrate the rebirth of nature and the change of station.
The “Japanese Blossom” Gin by Ukiyo Spirits is transparent and crystalline to the eye; on the nose it presents main aromas of juniper, cherry blossoms and citrus scents and in the background notes of violet, coriander and woody spices.
In the mouth you perceive freshness, delicacy and persistence which encourage drinking.
Excellent product to keep for important occasions and for a delicious end of the evening, enjoying a product of impeccable quality.
