This product, a hallmark of all Savinelli pipes, is a filter system based on the properties of balsa wood.
The Savinelli balsa filter solves the problem of removing tar and moisture from the smoke without altering the fragrance of fine pipe tobacco.
It absorbs, naturally and without additives or chemicals, the moisture and unpleasant drizzle that forms inside the pipe shank.
It also ensures less fouling and therefore greater cleanliness.
This absorption power comes from the numerous porous fibers of the balsa, which guarantee a perfect smoke without altering the fragrance and aroma of the tobacco.
The balsa in question is 9 mm thick, making it suitable for all pipes with a mouthpiece hole of this diameter.
