Engine Gin is an Italian, organic gin, produced with the Compound method in Alta Langa, on the border between Piedmont and Liguria, in the area known for the stories of Fenoglio and Pavese.
The main ingredients, in addition to juniper, are sage and lemon, considered excellent digestive according to the Piedmontese tradition, which is mainly based on this Italian gin.
The distillation takes place under vacuum, at very low temperatures, thanks to the use of a latest generation rotary evaporator. Its original and unusual packaging is inspired by the world of engines, the great passion of its manufacturer.
Engine Gin is amazing in gin & tonics and in the Martini cocktail !!
Unusual presentation, the Engine Gin bottle is the classic can of engine oil.
ENGINE gin is kept in an original half-liter tin box for food use.
A "camouflage" container, as were the jars of the moonshiners, the clandestine producers who in America produced their spirits in the moonlight to mask the smoke columns of distillation.
Tasting notes:
Color: transparent, clear.
Aromas: the nose is extremely fragrant and reveals notes of lime and orange flowers with intensity. A refreshing citrus explosion! Leaving it to breathe, the log moves to notes of coconut milk, spices and apricot.
Taste: In the mouth it remains strongly citrusy, surprising for the complexity of the flavors ranging from green tea to ripe fruit.
