The bird's rowan distillate is the rarest fruit distillate that Capovilla produces.

Vittorio 'Gianni' Capovilla is recognized worldwide as one of the best, if not the best, distiller in the world, in particular for his passion: fruit spirits, rums and grappas.

Capovilla defines its delicious grappas as the noble expression of a "poor" product.

The bird's Sorbo distillate is a fruit distillate, obtained by double-pass distillation in small copper bain-marie stills.

Vittorio made the excellence of the raw material and the purity of the distillates his real reason for living.

The rowan is a shrub that lives on the Capovilla farm, in the spring this kind of tree produces small white flowers, gathered in bunches; in early autumn they are replaced by numerous bright red berries.

The fruit of the bird's rowan is sweet, honeyed with firm flesh and intense aroma.

Vittorio Capovilla selects only the best fruits from the rowan plant, squeezes them and macers them, at the end of fermentation all the fermented must is distilled.

This bird's rowan distillate is colorless, limpid and crystalline.

The Capovilla distillate of the bird's rowan obtained is full of aromas, perfumes and in the mouth it is an explosion of sweetness.

The product rests at least 2 years in stainless steel tanks.

It is then bottled, diluted with spring water and brought to the alcohol content of 41% vol. without added sugar, flavorings or other.
