The Roby Marton distillery, founded in 2012 in Bassano del Grappa and produces luxury gin.

Marton's Gin is pale yellow in color, with a strong taste where hints of licorice and ginger stand out: a distillate of excellence, produced in limited quantities only 12,000 bottles a year.

However, in this contribution we will talk about another Marton masterpiece, produced in even more limited quantities: Marton's Tonka Gin Limited Edition 2022.

As the name suggests, Tonka Gin, for the preparation of this Gin Tonka beans are also used, i.e. the seeds of Dipterix odorata, a plant widespread in Brazil, Guyana, Nigeria, Trinidad and Venezuela.

In addition to perfumery, Tonka is used for the flavoring of some pipe tobaccos, including Samuel Gawith 1792 Flake.

Once the glass stopper is removed from the elegant bottle that contains it, a penetrating and distinctive scent comes out: in addition to juniper, the Tonka bean is immediately felt, with its typical aroma halfway between almond and vanilla.

Distinctive clotted aromas are also appreciated, very elegant and refined, with a hint of licorice and ginger.

Once poured, the Gin looks cloudy it is not filtered.
