The Bosso grappa Piemonte uve rosse barrel n°1 selection Fulvio Piccinino is produced with discontinuous direct steam distillation in copper stills and at slow rates.

The selection of the star distiller Fulvio Piccinino is a novelty for the Bosso distillery.

From the profession of the passionate distiller, a pair of aged grappas is born deriving from the Piedmontese red grape varieties, in Monferrato, mainly from Barbera, Malvasia, and Freisa grapes.

The refinement of La Bosso grappa Piemonte uve rosse botte n°1 takes place in stainless steel containers for at least one year after distillation.

The aging lasts at least 2 years in 1800-liter oak barrels.

La Bosso grappa Piemonte uve rosse botte n°1 is intense and complex, in perfect balance between the fruity aromas of the marc and the first notes of aging.

The fresh marc is clearly perceived and reveals itself with persuasive aromas of white-fleshed fruit, flowers and wild herbs.

Finally, the tertiary notes with acacia honey and delicate touches of vanilla.

Excellent taste-olfactory correspondence with smooth tannins and a long fruity finish.

Bosso is a name that evokes a grappa of family tradition.

For five generations they have passionately carried on the business founded in 1888 in Zanco di Villadeati and moved to Cunico in 1931.

The long experience in distillation, gained year after year, has allowed them to grow by giving the right attention to two pillars of the company: product quality and customer satisfaction.

Tasting Notes:

View: It is a deep straw yellow.

Aromas: hints of ripe white fruit, peach and pear accompanied by light floral notes.

Taste: from the notes of Barbera del Piemonte, rich and fat, we move on to smooth notes of honey biscuits and vanilla cream.
