From the genius and inspiration of the master Maitre V.G. Capovilla was born the first noble agricultural rum.

Rhum rhum blanc PMG Agricole is produced on the island of Marie Galante, near Guadelupe.

Rhum Rhum blanc PMG is also the first Pure Single Agricultural Rum in the world, i.e. double distillation in a copper still in a bain marie and aging on site for at least three years.

In 2007 it was the turn of a second alembic to be installed.

These two Müller stills, with a capacity of 300 and 1200 liters, have the characteristic of being heated in a bain-marie.

The fresh cane juice slowly ferments in thermo-regulated stainless steel cuves. Later it is distilled by Maestro Vittorio Gianni Capovilla.

The Rhum Rhum production directed by Capovilla has always created the best agricultural rums of Maria Galante, full of aromas and with intense and persistent notes on the palate.

The reduction from 56% to 41 degrees is done with sky water, they create an exceptional rum, produced in small quantities, and unfortunately only a few bottles remain.

The best agricultural rum in the world has just been produced.

Tasting Notes:

Color: transparent.

Aromas: ample, airy. Sugar cane expresses itself with great delicacy. He proudly carries the aromatic palette. Its white (peach, pear), red (raspberry, cherry in alcohol), exotic (pineapple, passion fruit), its tertiary notes (light tar, leather, tobacco), dried fish, hay and ginger fresh are seductive and sensual.

Taste: Its fruity and almond notes are reminiscent of a Fougerolles kirsch. Some spices (star anise, clove, cinnamon) feed the center of the mouth. It evolves on citrus fruits (grapefruit, bergamot) and on white flowers (lilac, lily of the valley). Vanilla, it oscillates between frangipane and dried fruit (pistachio, almond).

Final: long, greasy. The fruit has become candied, some has even turned into jam (cherry, strawberry). The geranium flower and the rose petals envelop the mineral notes with their perfumes (lapis mine, petroleum).

An empty glass makes a good face for the apricot kernel and star anise.
